Sanctuary

In the past eight years I have gotten to see how this house has been a sanctuary to so many different people. I truly believe that God has put a special blessing on this house for all who enter. This home as many have called it is not made by wood and cement but the foundation of Christ in the people who live here. Through different seasons of life this house has seen many faces and sheltered various people from life's storms.

There have been storms within the home as in all homes but I believe that it always turns back to a place of calm and safety. We who have called it our home whether for a long time or just a few nights have all been blessed with the outpouring of love that has occurred. I know that this place will always hold a special place in my and many others' hearts and that the people who have shared this home have each left their mark. Every time I see or remember one of these marks I feel so blessed to have been able to call this place home for so long.

I want to say a special thank you to my dad for being the provider of such an amazing place and for his role in all of our lives.
